Pie!

I have been eating lots of pie to prepare for Thanksgiving.... hahah... and because I was watching Pushing Daisies and they consume a lot of pie and I think I was jealous. I bought a little Sara Lee apple pie and some vanilla bean ice cream. Very good. The pie is frozen and the perfect size and ready after just 5 minutes in the microwave. Awesome!

The box says it's 4 servings, but it was more like 1 1/2 ;)

So my friend asked me if I had heard of Butch Walker... it didn't ring any bells so she sent me the link to this video. I started watching and realized that Taylor Swift posted this on her Twitter the other day. {Yes, I follow her on Twitter!} It may seem like its just a black screen for most of the vid, but words appear throughout. I made some pasta the other night and added spinach, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, feta and balsamic... then a little garlic basil oil.... yum.

It has been freezing cold here. I like it so much! hahah. There is nothing I love more than crawling into my bed with all of my warm blankets and turning on my rain machine {until I can get the real stuff!} I think I have been sleeping better now that my apartment is cold! And saving money, because I don't need the air on at night :)

Pushing Daisies <3

I am absolutely in LOVE with this show. I got the first disc from Netflix last week and watched it and couldn't wait until the second disc... no really, I couldn't wait. I found the first season online {@WB.com} and watched all of it. I returned the first disc from the second season today so that I can get the next one Monday! I can't believe they cancelled this show after only 2 seasons! It is soooo good. Plus, there are a lot of random guest stars who are hilarious {Molly Shannon, David Arquette, Fred Willard... and many others I recognize, but don't know their names! ha.} Bring it back!!!!
