What is your favorite store to shop at? Target & Express.

If you could afford anything and everything, which designer brand would you covet? Kate Spade

Must have closet staple? Lately I'm obsessed with maxi skirts! I have a bunch and I love them because I can wear them to work, but they are super comfortable too!

Favorite kind of shoes? (brand or type) I love me a good wedge, but I am a boot girl. I like boots. I have lots of boots. Currently looking for a short pair with no heel.

Best clothing deal you've ever gotten? (sale or amazing find) I think the best is anytime Express has a sale. I always get some good stuff & save a lot of money!

Style you'd love to try? I really like those bathing suits that have the stomach covered but swoop in on the sides and then look like a bikini from the back. I doubt it would look good on me, but I just think they are so cute! (minus that weird tan line)
I also like the bright colored pants!

Via Caffeine!

Was at Target and these Starbucks iced coffee drink mixes were on sale so I had to try it!  You mix up one packet with a bottle of water.  I drink hot coffee at work, but lately it's been sneaking into temperatures in the 100s and I was looking for something cold and caffeinated.

  

And oh my!  It tastes just like the iced coffees from Starbucks!  I was surprised.  They are quite lovely.  I need to look at the prices, but it comes with 6 packets and I think it is cheaper than getting 6 iced coffees from Starbucks.  There is also a carmel flavored one.  I don't like super sweet drinks, so I'm not sure if I'd like it, but it sounds pretty good!

Had so much fun with the link up last weekend, so I'm back for another round!

What is your all-time favorite song?  I am bad at picking just one... I have a new favorite song every day.  Today, it is a tie between Eli Young Band "Even If It Breaks Your Heart" and Gloriana "Good Night" and Kip Moore "Something Bout A Truck."  All time favorite is probably "Ants Marching" or "Grey Street" or "Tripping Billies" by Dave Matthews Band.  

What is your favorite singer/band?  DMB

What is your theme song/song that best describes your life?  I'm not really sure... I think certain lyrics describe my life more than an entire song.

What songs put you in a good mood?  The Garden State soundtrack.  It makes me so happy.  Same with every Angels & Airwaves album.  AVA is my go-to music for any stressful day.

What is your favorite road-trip music?  I love Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift to be on any kind of road trip mix.  Eric Church is a must.  Miranda Lambert.  Zac Brown Band.

What song are you embarrassed to admit you love?  I don't think I'm embarrassed about loving any song.  C'mon, I'm obsessed with T Swift.  I also drive around town blasting the soundtracks to Wicked and Legally Blonde The Musical.

Beauty Bag!

A little while ago Target Style had sign ups for a summer beauty bag, so I added myself to the list. Last night I came home to find a lovely surprise! I love free stuff. And I have been wanting to try a few of these things!

Do you love Ben and Jerry's ice cream? Me too. What's even better is discovering new flavors. Okay, these aren't actual flavors, but they're based on some of my favorite TV shows. And they're awesome. (See more here)

Wand

Been wanting a curling wand for a while now. Even though I have curly hair, I'm thinking this will still work on me! A few of my friends have it and they also have perfect hair and it lasts all day! Found this puppy at Target pretty cheap and it also has great reviews. Can't wait to try it out! Do you have a wand too?

June Birchbox!

I was so excited for my box this month! Birchbox knew exactly what I needed and I'm super impressed.

I am so happy about every single item. Especially the Borghese crystals. I can't wait to try that out! The stainiac doesn't really have much of a color on my lips, but I like that it's not sticky. I like it more than the Benetint by Benefit.

Full sized products are always a plus and the fat eye stick is sweet. I got a bright dark blue color. Not sure about bright and dark being a good description haha. But that's what it is!

Favorite movie of all time?  GARDEN STATE. I have seen it too many times to count. I have a million other favorites too, but this movie makes me the happiest. 

Favorite movie quote?  "I can tap dance, you wanna see me tap dance?" "I would love to see you tap dance." ~Garden State 

Best movie to watch for a girls night in?  Mean Girls! Or Bridesmaids. LOVE me some Kristin Wiig.

Best breakup movie?  The Break Up of course!. 

Favorite celeb eye candy?  Matt Bomer. I've loved him since he was in this show called "Traveler." It was only on one season because I think I was the only viewer, but it was a really good show! And he's beautiful. 

Which movie stars closet would you want to raid?  Chelsea Handler.  Even though Chels isn't a "movie star."  4 out of 5 days on her show I want everything she's wearing.  Including shoes and hairstyle. 

Junkie

A few weeks ago all of the TV shows came to an end and I was very sad.  I watch way too many shows and saw way too many super intense amazing finales which all left me wanting more.  Suddenly this week I am realizing that all the shows I have forgotten about from last summer are coming BACK! It began with Pretty Little Liars last week and Suits this week.

Coming soon:  Breaking Bad, Weeds, Big Brother, White Collar!!

I also watched the premiere of Bunheads on ABC Family.  I've been seeing the previews for weeks and didn't look like something I was going to like.  I was wrong.  The first episode really pulls you in.  I totally love the main girl.  She has a cute, quirky sense of humor.  Plus, Emily Gilmore is her co-star.  Loves.

I tend to post random thoughts and funny or silly things. I love taking pictures (especially of food - thank you instagram) and I seem to be better with photos than words. I also have a food blog.

I watch way too much TV and recently became obsessed with my kindle and the Fifty Shades books. I've seen almost all of my favorite bands/singers in concert ... love me some country music! Wicked!

Saw Wicked (again) today and it was incredible. It's my most favorite show. Ever. If you haven't seen it you should. I promise you will love it. <3 elpheba

Nail Files - Manicured

Linking up with the girls this week to share a first!



Went last weekend with the lovely Mrs. Monologues and Life with the Edwards to get our nails done and shop and eat and drink. Most importantly, the nails. They both got pedicures, but I am not really into that. I'm way ticklish and I did it once in high school and hated it. Maybe I would like it now, but instead I got my first manicure! I know right. I change my nail color a lot so I've never wanted to spend the money and I can do it myself so why pay someone? Well, it was pretty fun! She also rubbed some kind of something on my hands and arms that smelled pretty an made them soft. And after 6 days the color is still looking new! Best $20 I spent this week. Not sure what the color name is, but the polish is OPI. I love it!
