Click Chicks Week 12!

Click Chicks!  The challenge this week was black and white.  Went exploring at the Capitol again (inside and out ... so cool!) and this is in the rose garden.  It is so cool looking!  I really thought it would look neat in black and white, although the red flowers behind it really add something.

Express!

This past weekend Express had a 70% off sale and I was dying to get more shorts and really been wanting colored pants!!  I got the coolest green shorts there last year and they are amazing.  SO THEN they had a 24 sale the other day and I ended up getting even more clothes.  Definitely have my summer work wardrobe.  I ended up with 2 pants, 1 ankle dress pants, two dressy sailor shorts, 2 tanks, 2 peplum tops and 3 dresses!  And with all the sales and coupons I had it ended up being not very much money. Here's a little peak...

These pants are so comfy!  And super breathable for sumner :) 

I got them in mint (above) and peacock (below).

Got this top in navy with polka dots and black.  Perfect for work with a cami.

LOVE these shorts!  Super thin and comfy.  I got this color and then black ones too.  Good to wear out during the day or throw on some heels and wear out at night!

Click Chicks Week 11!

Click Chicks!  The challenge this week was happiness.  I couldn't decide if I wanted to show pictures of something that brings me happiness or pictures of actual happy people... so I did both!  Here is my roomie Mazel who brings me so much joy!!  He's hilarious :)

 The other pics are from this weekend at the rose garden at the capitol.  This is my and my friend before we saw Billy Elliot.  Great show by the way!

Click Chicks Week 10!

Click Chicks!  The challenge this week was silhouettes.  I googled a tutorial about how to do this in manual and it was really hard!  So I stuck with trees and the auto white balance setting!

 I headed to the capitol at sunset to try to capture some good shots, and this is the best I got!  This was definitely a challenge!  I must have deleted 20 photos!

Click Chicks!  The challenge this week was bokeh, so we all tried to get a pic with a blurry background.  A couple weeks ago it was super nice here so I went for a bike ride with one of my girlfriends around town and stopped for a beverage.  Here is my soy chai with my blurry bike behind it!
