"Rich and delicious like a hot Italian should be..."

We went to Hot Italian yesterday for lunch and it was SO great!  It took us about 20 minutes to decide what to order.  They have a lot of different choices and then once you decide what you want, you have the option of getting it as a pizza, panini or salad.  Natasha and I both got the zucchini, eggplant, cherry tomatoes and goat cheese.  She had a panini and I had pizza.

It was really good.  In addition to the awesome food, the place is so cool!  Everything is European.  There are signs all around the restaurant in Italian, the ones on the table say that you shouldn't talk on your phone during your meal!  Haha.  There are about 8 large tables and everyone sits where they want so you end up sitting with other people, which I think is a really good idea!

The BEST part of the lunch was the dessert, of course!  Gelato rocks.  We got 2 scoops of Mr. Espresso and 2 scoops of Tiramisu to go.  It was rich & delicious [note the title of this post].  My favorite part was what we ate it with.  They were really sweet!  I asked the waiter where someone could purchase a utensil like that and he gave me the name of the website... he wrote it on my pizza box!  It was a good time!  We ate our next cup of gelato in the park :)

I have been dying to try Hot Italian -- it's a new(ish) restaurant a couple blocks from me. Paninis, gelato, pizza... hopefully this weekend I can go! I keep hearing great reviews. It makes me hungry.

My friends and I all went to graduation at Sac State this weekend to scream and cheer for my friend Natasha ... (and of course take stalker-azzi photos of her when she wasn't looking.)

We are all very happy for her! After they announced her name we got nachos from the snack bar, which was also very exciting! hahah.

After being back and forth with the girls all week about what to wear, we all showed up in super cute summer dresses! We were all so bright and solid :)

The colors reminded us of Saved by the Bell when Kelly, Jessie and Lisa filmed their music video!

Sad times for California, but we sure can fight!

Yay Bethenny!

She is SO hilarious.  I started reading her book yesterday, Naturally Thin, and so far it's great!  I really want to buy her Skinny Girl drinks when they come out this summer.  If you don't know who Bethenny Frankel is... she is one of the girls on Real Housewives of NYC and a natural foods chef.  All of the food she makes is healthy, but tasty.  (Naturally Thin Cookbook next year!)  She is hands down my favorite housewife from ANY season!  She is really funny on the show and just so honest -- I love it!   

I'll let you know how the rest of the book goes, but I am sure I won't be disappointed!

This was a couple Sundays ago, but I think it is a great secret!

Sometimes I find myself doing the same thing after I've been on the computer too long.  Lindsay is tired so she is going to bed.  Lately it's the Twitter lingo that gets into my head.  The way you reply to someone is to put "@" in front of their username.... Lindsay can't wait to go dancing @Natasha.  It's all so weird!  I don't know who came up with this stuff.  I definitely have been using "@" in more texts lately......

Sick Days....

Oh right, I also redid the page a little while I was home with nothing to do.  With some help from the very talented Kaitlin @ http://www.lifeofabusywife.com ... I think it's pretty sweet!  I think I spent about 20 minutes trying to make the "L" on the signature look like my "L" haha.  Everything else was much easier!  I am resting tonight instead of going out, so there may be even more changes by the weekend!  It gets addicting.

Being home sick for 2 days I am pretty bored!  I caught up on some Netflix & DVR, did some major cleaning and of course my favorite activity, photoshopping.  It's just a filter, minus the lens, but it looks cool.

I am so excited for all the movies coming out in the next few months! I cannot wait to see Angels & Demons! I heard it was really good. I loved the book. I think the book was much better than DaVinci Code, and I loved that movie, so I have high hopes for this one. Rumors say that they are looking into making another movie based on a different Dan Brown book. [The picture below is an ambigram... it reads the same upside down. Read the book!]

I also really want to see the new Star Trek movie. Hahah! Not because I follow the whole Star Trek thing, but I am destined to marry Chris Pine! I know absolutely nothing about it, but I saw a few of the cast members on Ellen talking about it.

Night at the Museum 2 comes out this Friday! I absolutely LOVED the first movie, and the sequel has even more people!! The cast includes: Ben Stiller, Dick Van Dyke, Robin Williams, Amy Adams, Owen Wilson, Rami Malek, Hank Azaria, Bill Hader, Ricky Gervais, Christopher Guest and Steve Coogan. I have seen a few trailers for it, but I try to fast forward them. I hate when the previews give funny parts away. I want to go see it with a clean slate. Ben Stiller says the sequel is better than the first one. I'm sure he's a little biased, but I hope he's right!UP looks amazing too! Disney/Pixar never disappoints me! When I first saw the preview, I thought it was just a short. I was happy to know they are coming out with a new movie. I don't think I've seen a Disney/Pixar film I didn't like!

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs comes out on July 4!!!! I have the first 2 and they are so funny. I've been waiting for this to come out for years! I just love cartoons :)The film I am most excited for.....

Where the Wild Things Are Trailer

It looks fantastic. I have to wait until mid-October, but I think it will be worth it!! Now I just have to find someone to make a movie about Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
