It's almost Halloween! I LOVE it!

The Lovely Bones.

What a great book! I don't know if I have ever read so many pages so quickly. It was really hard to put down and just overall an amazing story. Susie Salmon, the main character, gets killed when she is young and tells the story from "her heaven" as she watches her family and friends cope with her death and try to move on. Alice Sebold really paints a picture in your mind of what is going on throughout the entire book. I LOVED The Lovely Bones. Absolutely recommend.

I've been sick for the past few days and I have had nothing but soup and tea. Now all I want is cookies! Probably because one of my friends on Facebook always has her status about cookies lately. hahah. But how good do these look..... ???!

Apple PIE

Fall weather makes me love pie more than I already do! I can't wait for Thanksgiving... so many pies... and green bean casserole.... and cranberry sauce.... fine, I love food!

This season of Dexter is awesome! There have only been 4 episodes... I think... maybe 5.... and it is great! John Lithgow is the killer they are after this season and he is pretty creepy! Ya know, that guy from 3rd Rock from the Sun. He's been going around the country killing in 3's for 30 years... The Trinity Killer.

Spaghetti Squash!

I made my fav... spaghetti squash... and I was googling a new way to cook it, but didn't find any better than how I always cook it. {Slice in half and cook face down in a little water for about 50 min.} One of the sites I was on said you can cook the seeds like pumpkin seeds. So I did. With salt and cayenne pepper. Tasty!

Fajita/Burrito

I attempted to have a fajita night, but it turned out to be more of a burrito. Hahaha. Best burrito though.... zucchini, yellow squash, black beans, spicy guac, tomatoes & mozzarella.

BEST OFFICE EPISODE EVER

Last night's Pam/Jim wedding episode was the absolute greatest! Not only was it an hour long, but they did that wedding dance from that video I posted a couple months ago... okay, I wasn't the only one who posted it because it was amazing. Office=Hilarious!!!

Ciabatta Rolls!

I bought some awesome rolls at costco and made a veggie burger for lunch the other day. I used the artichoke relish I got at Apple Hill... it was good! Kinda sweet, but also tangy. Love it. I put mozzarella and spinach on top of the burger too. Yum!
