Went last weekend with the lovely Mrs. Monologues and Life with the Edwards to get our nails done and shop and eat and drink. Most importantly, the nails. They both got pedicures, but I am not really into that. I'm way ticklish and I did it once in high school and hated it. Maybe I would like it now, but instead I got my first manicure! I know right. I change my nail color a lot so I've never wanted to spend the money and I can do it myself so why pay someone? Well, it was pretty fun! She also rubbed some kind of something on my hands and arms that smelled pretty an made them soft. And after 6 days the color is still looking new! Best $20 I spent this week. Not sure what the color name is, but the polish is OPI. I love it!

98 Degrees

Went to Sacramento Pride Festival today and the headlining act was Jeff Timmons from 98 degrees! I was always a big fan of Drew, but it was pretty amazing to see Jeff. Actually, it was slightly awkward. He sang all their hits from the 90s and I still knew the words and he was pretty good looking. Oh, and kind of short. He came out in the crowd and danced around. I was definitely taller. After the performance we went to grab a drink and he was in the same restaurant. So now I think I'm stalking Jeff from 98 degrees.

I found some new Skinny Girl cocktails! I looove the margarita and the white wine sangria, so I'm stocked to try these! I know she's got some wine too, but I haven't seen it yet. Also, I have the white cranberry Cosmo on my list to try. Anyone try anything else?

Nail Files Friday

Well, I just wanted to share that I haven't painted my nails for almost 2 wks! I'm in love with this polish that doesn't chip. Thank you Birchbox! Can't wait to buy some fun full sized ones! See it HERE.

Color Club

This week I tried one of my Birchbox polishes! I couldn't decide between the two that I got (thank you, Tara for the input!), but I am loving this color! It's called "Age of Aquarius" by Color Club. I've never heard of this brand before, but I love it! My nails still look like I just painted them and it's been 4 days. No chipping!
