I am absolutely in LOVE with this show. I got the first disc from Netflix last week and watched it and couldn't wait until the second disc... no really, I couldn't wait. I found the first season online {@WB.com} and watched all of it. I returned the first disc from the second season today so that I can get the next one Monday! I can't believe they cancelled this show after only 2 seasons! It is soooo good. Plus, there are a lot of random guest stars who are hilarious {Molly Shannon, David Arquette, Fred Willard... and many others I recognize, but don't know their names! ha.} Bring it back!!!!

I had some bean dip from Ernesto's {YUM} that I wanted to eat, but I didn't have any chips so I made some! I cut up a couple tortillas, put a drop of olive oil on each piece, added a little salt, then broiled for a few minutes. They were so much better than store bought chips. Not as salty and more flavor. Success!

It's almost Halloween! I LOVE it!

The Lovely Bones.

What a great book! I don't know if I have ever read so many pages so quickly. It was really hard to put down and just overall an amazing story. Susie Salmon, the main character, gets killed when she is young and tells the story from "her heaven" as she watches her family and friends cope with her death and try to move on. Alice Sebold really paints a picture in your mind of what is going on throughout the entire book. I LOVED The Lovely Bones. Absolutely recommend.

I've been sick for the past few days and I have had nothing but soup and tea. Now all I want is cookies! Probably because one of my friends on Facebook always has her status about cookies lately. hahah. But how good do these look..... ???!

Fall weather makes me love pie more than I already do! I can't wait for Thanksgiving... so many pies... and green bean casserole.... and cranberry sauce.... fine, I love food!

This season of Dexter is awesome! There have only been 4 episodes... I think... maybe 5.... and it is great! John Lithgow is the killer they are after this season and he is pretty creepy! Ya know, that guy from 3rd Rock from the Sun. He's been going around the country killing in 3's for 30 years... The Trinity Killer.
