One of my Groupons expired this past weekend, so naturally I waited until the last second and then went and used it. It was for Smashburger, which I guess is a chain, but I only knew one thing about this place -- deep fried pickles.
Oh. My. Gee. So amazing! They were perfectly bite-sized and crunchy, not only because of the obviously fried breading, but from the pickles! They were amazing. Definitely a little too greasy for me, but no complaints and I ate the whole basket. (Minus one that I shared with my friend.)
The burger I had was good too. Okay, I don't eat meat, but the black bean burger was still good. I put it on their "NorCal" burger (LAME NAME) which was blue cheese, lettuce, tomato and grilled onions. Yummy. Can't wait to go back for the Spicy Baja Burger and an oreo shake!!

Who knew fried pickles could be so tasty? I was horrified when my friend ordered them for the first time.. and of course fell in love once I tasted their greasy goodness ;)
