Forgot to take a picture, so here is what I got! I love the Kate Spade perfume. Mostly because I can't dislike anything by KSNY. Although, it's a little floral and not for me. Haven't tried the tea yet, but I like tea and each has a different caffeine level. I really like the Vasanti BrightenUp! It makes your skin feel really smooth and clean. It also smells nice :) I was excited for the La Fresh nail polish wipes, but there was only one in the sample. It oil off 3 nails. What a bummer. I wouldn't buy this. I like the Jouer moisture tint! Just wish the sample wasn't so dark. I need a pale one! And lastly, this is my 4th color club sample. I got a bright green color. Not totally for fall, but I like it. Overall, good box. I did feel like I got some leftover samples that other people got months ago.

Adapt

Today I bought a digital AV adapter for my iToys and now I can watch things on my TV! Biggest iPad screen ever haha. All you need is the adapter and HDMI cable and voila. You can use your iPad/iPhone through your TV. Also great for slideshows! I'm hoping to use the TV and video apps more. Much better than watching on a tiny screen.

iOS 6

New iPhone release means new Apple software update!  I really like it a lot already.  Also, it keeps me from wanting the latest and greatest phone model because it is basically like a brand new phone after the update!  Here are a few of my favorite new things from iOS 6:

1- Panoramic photos!  Yes, it is practically just as cool as that camera you spin (which has TSwift in the commercial) and then it saves the picture.  It has a line you're supposed to keep an arrow balanced on so that the photo is straight.  I had a hard time with that.  You basically can't move the phone at all.  Still, it is a sweet feature.

2- FINALLY you can attach a photo to an email!!  This addition is so helpful.  You can attach a picture(s) or video.  Why did it take you so long, Apple!?

3- There is a nifty new feature which allows you to ignore a call, but send a text response.  They have preset messages like "I'll call you later" and "What's up?"  I probably won't use it, but I am excited about the "remind me later" option.  When you ignore a call it can remind you in an hour or set a call back time OR it will remind you when you leave your location.  Amazing.  I need that.  I'm horrible at remembering to call people back.  I love reminders!!

4- Next, we have another thing that I really thing should have existed many, many updates ago.  Sharing photos has never been easier.  Before, the photo sharing options were to tweet, email or send sms.  Now you can also add to Facebook!  There are also new shortcuts to assign to a contact or set as wallpaper.  So smart!

5- Last, but not least, is the map update.  This is by far my favorite.  Well, these are all favs, but this is the most useful!!!!  Drum roll............ VOICE DIRECTIONS!  Not only is the map prettier and you can do 3D and yada yada, but you put in an address and select your location and then it gives you turn-by-turn directions!  So happy.  Especially since you can't use your phones in California while driving... this is like having a GPS and you don't have to hold it or look at it.  It just knows.  It tracks you and then tells you what to do next.  Yay!

Overall, I'd say this was a pretty good update.  There are some other new features, but they aren't as useful to me (yet).  Have you updated your iPhone or iPad?  Do you love it!?  If you have email reply enabled in your comments, feel free to leave a comment with any questions and I will gladly answer :)

August Box

I was excited about this box! I am always willing to try new hair curling products, so I will be trying out Pillow Soft Curls today. I used the razor, but it's not my fav. I like what I normally buy, but this is a $10 value so not mad. Once the serum dries out it might be a good razor. I hate the moisturizing stuff around it. Just seems like it never shaves as well. I am most excited about the cleanser, however, I will not be spending $38 for a full sized bottle. Hopefully I don't love it too much! More perfume. Sick of the perfumes. The body butter smells amazing, but I only use unscented lotions. Overall this box was eh. Thinking I'm gonna take a birch break for a bit. I have so many products right now that I need to use. I have found many awesome products from Birchbox!

Spice Up Your Life!

Been waiting and waiting for the Spice Girls Olympic performance forever! And it was over way too fast. If you missed it, they looked amazing and each had a car and it changed colors/patterns and was really cool. I'm so tired today from staying up to watch though. But I couldn't miss it!!

1. I love any excuse to dress up.  I've hosted many themed parties.  Halloween is my favorite holiday.  I already have two costumes planned for this year!
2. I think Kristin Wiig is the funniest person ever.  We share the same birthday.  I also think that is partly why I am so funny.  
3. I live and breathe Big Brother all summer long.  This is the newest addition to my Chilltown swag.  
4. I have an unhealthy obsession with Taylor Swift.  Everyone knows it.  I'm not ashamed.  (I also took that photo at her concert.)
5. My birthday is in a few weeks and I am really excited!  I might be the only person I know who enjoys getting older.  
6. LOVE wine tasting!!  Went this weekend with Mrs. Monologues and Bekah!  We had so much fun!  Ikea, food trucks & wine tasting!  Perfect day!
7. Love country music and cowboys and cowboy boots.  Trying to save up for a real pair of boots!

Old Sugar Mill

Went to a nice event out at the Old Sugar Mill, which is home to many different wineries.  Did some tastings, bought some wine, had some food truck food.  Perfect day.
